Mr. Rick Diehl
Principal, Strategic Technology Group

Mr. Diehl is Principal of Strategic Technology Group. He has extensive experience in co-founding, investing in, and serving as an officer/director of several high technology companies in advanced materials, electronics, aerospace and energy systems, and serves many of the Fortune 100 Industrials as a consultant in advanced technology strategy and alliances. Mr. Diehl also serves on a standing committee of the National Science Foundation that reviews SBIR submissions. Formerly head of Business Development and General Manager of Corporate Technology in The Continental Group, a Fortune 100 Industrial in the 1980's, he is a graduate of the U. S. Naval Academy.

Mr. Stephen A Dynan
Vice-President, CTG Advanced Materials LLC

Mr. Dynan is presently Vice President for Single Crystal Technology at CTG Advanced Materials, LLC where he has operational responsibility for multiple production lines and multiple projects for medical device manufacturers, energy services companies, defense contractors, and the U.S. Navy as to include oversight of manufacturing systems and marketing.  He has lead responsibility for extensive oxide and non-oxide research & development and manufacturing integration of such research.  Prior to CTG he was the Chief Executive Officer of Piezo Kinetics, Inc., the largest privately held Ultrasonics Company in the world.  Prior to Piezo Kinetics, Inc., Steve spent 5 years as the Corporate Engineering Manager at LTD Ceramics located in Silicon Valley, CA - a business focused on advanced material solutions for the semi-conductor and other high tech markets.  Mr. Dynan received his both BS and MS in Ceramic Science & Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University.  He holds a number of patents in piezoelectric materials, semiconductor adhesion and dielectric materials.

Dr. Joseph Guerci
President, Guerci Associates

Dr. Guerci has over 29 years of experience in advanced technology research and development in government, industrial, and academic settings. His government service included a 7-year term with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) including Director of the Special Projects Office (SPO). In these capacities, Dr. Guerci was involved in the inception, research, development, execution, and ultimately transition of next generation multidisciplinary defense technologies.  Dr. Guerci is also a recognized leader in the research and development of next generation sensor and electronic warfare systems.  He has a recently been appointed the General Chair for the 2015 IEEE International Radar Conference, and is an elected member of the IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society (AESS) Board of Governors. 

Dr. Chris Haase
Business Advisor to CTO and EVP, Innovation R&D Technology Strategy, Shell Oil Corporation

Dr. Haase splits his time between Houston, USA and Rijswik, The Netherlands and his responsibilities include Manager of External Research for Americas & Africa with Shell International in Houston, Texas. In this capacity, Chris oversees and coordinates all research projects and collaborations between Shell and universities, institutes and small / medium corporation. More recently, Dr. Haase was a principal with Shell’s innovation fund, GameChanger, which invested in disruptive, transformational technologies in the energy sector. In the area of oil and gas industry finance, He served as a senior competitive intelligence analyst with the corporate finance team of BHP Billiton Petroleum, where he was responsible for BHP Billiton’s 20-year natural gas pricing protocol, SEC reporting on year-end commodity prices, and delivered strategic advice on A&D transactions. He has held several senior positions with various agencies under the US Department of Defense and currently offers his expertise as a scientific advisor to the Nanotechnology Center at the University of Arkansas, Science Foundation Arizona and the National Technology Transfer Center he has authored and taught several finance and intellectual property continuing education seminars with the Licensing Executives Society, Practicing Law Institute and the Mid-Atlantic Venture Capital Association. In addition to his background in energy, finance and technology transfer, Dr. Haase has deep experience research and development and is the inventor of several technologies used in the upstream energy sector (see US 6,817,412, US 6,868,040, US 6,915,703, US 7,256,706). He graduated Summa Cum Laude, from Ohio State University, Phi Beta Kappa.

Frederick N. Samuels Esq.

Frederick N. Samuels is presently a Senior Partner at Cahn & Samuels LLC a pre-eminent Washington DC law firm that represents a broad range of clients, from individual inventors and small technology start-ups to Federal laboratories and Fortune 500 Multinational Corporations.  He has been involved in the field of intellectual property since 1986, and has been in private practice since 1990. Mr. Samuels has extensive experience in all aspects of intellectual property, including litigation, administrative proceedings, patent and trademark procurement, technology transfer and licensing. Mr. Samuels focuses his broad experience to provide clients with strategic, business-orientated counseling in the acquisition, management and exploitation of their intellectual property. In this regard, Mr. Samuels has devised and implemented intellectual business strategies for clients of all sizes and at all stages of development. Mr. Samuels received his Juris Doctor from George Washington University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland. 

Dr. Dale Wolfe
Chief Strategic Officer of Corporate Strategy at eFlow Systems

Dr. Wolfe joined eFlow in July 2010 after retiring from a 33+ year career with Raytheon Company (via Hughes Aircraft Company). At Raytheon, Dale held numerous Executive and Directorship positions associated with Business Strategy, Strategic Growth, and Campaign Development and Capture. Recent assignments entailed Electro-Optical, Infrared and Radio Frequency sensor systems supporting space and airborne mission areas. His previous five-year window of responsibilities encompassed Classified, DOD Space, Civil Space, Missile Defense, Homeland Security and International lines of business. During this tenure, Dale created and/or led key strategic sensor payload campaigns, including the MDA Space Tracking and Surveillance System (STSS) payloads. Prior to his Missile Defense Executive assignment, Dale managed the west coast operations of Raytheon Commercial Ventures. The position facilitated dealings with senior executives and respected technologists from leading fortune 500 companies. Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, the organization was chartered with transitioning Military technologies into the commercial market place.
